Data Explorer
gives groups of indicators defined by the administrator for viewing together.
Click the 'Start Selecting your Data Explorer' button. Data Explorer ‘Indicator
Baskets’ may be viewed as a table or using an interactive atlas. The
interactive atlases require either the Adobe Flash Player 8+ or SVG Viewer 3
plug-in to be installed on your computer (depending on whether the atlases
available use the Flash or Scalable Vector Graphics technology).
Problems
with downloading and installing plug-ins: Flash content is very widely supported
(93% of all web browsers in Europe for ver.8+)
and therefore the best way of supporting this type of richly interactive web
content. If, as a result of IT security policies within your organisation, you are not able to download and install the
Adobe Flash Player then you will need to contact your IT Help Desk. You can
either consider your needs for access as a 'special case' or submit a broader
case for supporting Flash across all standard desktops within the organisation. If you want to look at the site before
approaching IT Services then the likelihood is that your home PC will be
Flash-enabled. Even if it is not, you can easily install the Flash Player
first.
